A WORD FROM THE FOUNDERS
Steve Zuwala, President, LEED AP on the topic of Corporate Mentality
"We all spend countless hours at work, so we need our space to be comfortable, inspiring, and reminiscent of what our business is about. Our own clients see ICG in part through the environment we offer them when they walk through our front door. The same applies to all businesses. You look to your A&D team to guide you through those decisions, and then you look to a general contractor to implement the decisions that are made. Our main focus, besides, of course, budget, workmanship, quality, and schedule, is to keep that design vision alive throughout that implementation process."
Bill Darnell, Vice President, on the topic of Teamwork
"I host a weekly meeting where my entire team is free to sit together and trouble shoot solutions to problems they are experiencing in the field. I've seen some amazing team work and smart solutions come out of these meetings over the years. We all hear a lot about teamwork in the corporate world, but to see it unfold every week is really something."
Mike Lynk, Vice President, on the topic of the Corporate Home
"We see more companies planning for larger conference rooms for break out meetings, seminars and marketing events for clients. I'm also seeing a demand for larger kitchens so employees can eat together and share ideas informally. Our own kitchen here at ICG was designed that way and it complements our corporate culture well."
